Great post Statto, one to think about. Player of the decade for me has to be Luke Nightingale. He was genuinely a player that every other side in the league would have taken at the time. He was Conference National quality at least during his first few seasons with us. Clearly loved playing for Bognor too and was very sad to leave. On a similar theme, heres my team of the decade (I've gone 4-3-3 because I just couldn't leave out any of the 3 centre forwards) GK Craig Stoner RB David Piper LB Seb Wallis-Tayler CB Duncan Jupp CB Kevin Murphy M Richard Hudson M Michael Birmingham M David Wright CF Ben Watson CF Luke Nightingale CF Matty Russell

Carshalton are playing in the FA Trophy. As far as I am aware, the only game we could rearrange for this date is away to Waltham Abbey. This is dependent upon an FA Trophy match that Maidstone are playing against Histon on Tuesday 5th January. If Maidstone win, we could play Waltham Abbey, as they will then have no match on 9th January. If Maidstone lose, we cannot play anyone, as the only team left in the FA Trophy from our division would be Carshalton.

I have been asked by the Club to let you all know that the home game v Carshalton Athletic on Sat 9th Jan is now OFF. Circumstances beyond the Club's control, as Carshalton are involved in another fixture ( possibly the Vase? ). BRTFC are trying their best endeavouring to fill this date - it could be an away fixture however - and will keep us posted. Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings

Well if you want to be strictly accurate Jack and Maurice wouldn't be included in the 104 but then again neither was one of the others for various reasons. The real point I wanted to make was that last night there were only 7 Bognor fans and officials at the game and 104 for an attendance, is low.

The Bognor team was: Pernecky, Crane, Clark, Wood, Bond, Demetriou, Hudson, Birmingham, Prior, Norgate and Beck. Subs were Oatway, Bogard, Greenfield and Ide Greenfield replaced Norgate. Ide replaced Beck. Oatway replaced Wood. I see Carshalton won in their FA Trophy replay, which should mean our game on 9th January will be postponed.
