I have a recollection that the victory at Harrow listed was the one that confirmed our status in the inaugural Conference South which started the following season. Pretty sure we had to finish either 13th or 14th to qualify and this victory sealed it. The match in 2017 on this day would have also confirmed our place in the Conference South but, ahem, that one didn’t quite work out as planned.

The 2007 game at Cambridge was memorable because Paul Guppy, who I travelled up with, won the draw and had to go on the pitch to collect it at half time. He didn't want to go, and I can't remember now if his son Ian went or if he did go himself. Perhaps Ian can remember.

At the start of the season, we needed to finish between 2nd and 13th to avoid a play-off.
