I read on BBC Sport website that it has been suggested that background noise such as "Ooohs" and "Aaahs" could be played at Cricket matches behind closed doors. A brilliant idea which, I think, could be extended to Football matches behind closed doors also. I suggest comments could also be played, such as "You're having a laugh, ref" and " where's he going, Lino?", as well as, perhaps, less salubrious comments from our great football intelligentsia. Any thoughts, anyone?

I really cant get excited about this football behind closed doors farce. The government say they will allow it (so long as thete isnt a spike) to raise the morale of the country. It certainly wont raise mine. Im totally againty it.

It’s all about money with no consideration about; Staff Players Supporters For heaven’s sake sometimes there are more important things than football despite what Bill Shankley said!!!

Maybe a tape loop of an incessant rattle (bought at Plymouth Argyle as they had the same colours) and a long lost chant of "COME ON BOGNOOOOOOOOOR" might do the trick? :-D

I'm with you Pete. I'm now in 'summer mode' (despite the cold weather) and can't work up any enthusiasm for these behind closed doors fixtures. The police are now getting concerned that supporters will turn up at grounds even though they know they can't get in. The Scousers will definitely want to be around when their team clinch the Premier League title at whatever ground it happens to be at.
Also, I'm not sure the players are totally committed to playing behind closed doors. A number have questioned the safety aspect.
My morale wont be lifted until this awful pandemic is over and that ain't going to be any time soon.
I love watching football from the Premier League down to non-league, going to matches, watching it on TV and I have even been known to have the occasional flutter! But season 2019/2020 is now gone although I appreciate the football authorities have to make important, difficult decisions in these unprecedented times.
