Just seen this on Twitter. Ollie Bayliss Ollie_Bayliss BREAKING! The DCMS have clarified that they believe any club below the National League (Step 2) CAN admit some spectators under the current rules. I'd expect more to follow from the FA. Does this mean we can attend the Horndean friendly on Friday night now?

I did hear talk that Boris and his airbags were thinking of restricting attendance to 15% of capacity. To my knowledge, Nye Camp's capacity is 4,500 which would allow 675 fans to attend.

I know Simon is away at the moment. We will have to see what the rules of entry and just how many/what percentages etc are allowed. We actually dont know what date this commences frm. Its all up in the air and lm not sure that it will include pre seasons. Would imagine there may not be fans at tomorrows game, l may be wrong.

Restricted maximum capacity of 300 spectators for step 3 to begin with - thus shutting out about half Bognor's usual attendance! All-ticket to begin with, I reckon. The capacity will be doubled to 600 for a 'step 3' club once it's played at least one game under the lower capacities.
Spectator numbers allowed at Step 3 (maximum 300), Step 4 (maximum 200) and Steps 5 and 6 (maximum 150) are from August 22-30.

Update - From 22nd to 30th August, crowds will be limited to less than 15% of ground capacity. From 31st August that will rise to 30%.
In Nye Camp terms, prior to the ground rebuilding, the official capacity was 4,500. Using that capacity for calculations, that would mean a maximum of 674 spectators allowed in initially, rising to 1,349.

Back to normal gates then Eddie! What about social distancing at turnstiles; masks required, sanitizer, canteen?
I think there's a lot to be taken into account than just spectators watching a game.
