I'm assuming that if any group transport is arranged to away games on coaches that face masks would need to be worn throughout the journey. And I believe that public transport (i.e. trains) has the same rules.
Therefore I suppose it leaves supporters to organise themselves into smaller groups and go by car if they wish to avoid wearing face masks?
I've recently taken a 90 minute domestic flight wearing a face mask which felt very restrictive and uncomfortable. If we have to go two and a half hours in a coach with a mask on I'm sure it will put quite a few people off.
Does any one have any opinions as to how they think things will pan out with the rules?

They're expensive (about £8.50 including postage from Amazon), but I bought a visor which goes down to your chin and has sponge protection at the top stopping any droplets from entering from that direction. It doesn't restrict beathing at all, and visibility is superb, but the visor part does flap about in windy weather.

Having had a conversation with our travel company away day travel could be available this season but face masks are to be worn. We are waiting to hear if aaay fans are going to be allowed in before more information is published

Did you wear it on the tannoy yesterday Eddie? If the wind causes it to flap about I guess it does the same from inside when your voice booms out! Have a good season Eddie.

I don't do friendlies, Dave, and I've been stopped from doing the tannoy on medical advice (which many are probably very happy about!) - I was taken ill with chest and lung problems last October, and after several ECGs, an x-ray and a nebuliser it appears my chest can't take cold, damp air. Not good when you're doing ten minutes of breathing in and out doing announcements on a cold midweek night in autumn or winter. Have a good season yourself, sir.

Can't see myself going to any matches until all restrictions are lifted and that ain't going to be any time soon.
Once the season starts however my enthusiasm for attending football matches may return. In the meantime I'll be watching Soccer Saturday on Sky. On second thoughts....... see you all down the Lane in October.
