I thought the new lads certainly done themselves no harm, paticularly stanley who looks like a striker with an eye for goal.jordy looked an interesting possibility for me having maybe tried too hard early on losing the ball in good advanced situations, but once settling down he also looks capable of scoring goals and did track back to help the defence.it was another strong and fairly dominant performance and could easily have been more.im sure amadou will reflect on being beaten from a long way out for the 2nd goal even allowing for the deflection but it was good to see him back.i was a little surprised at the refs decision to allow a substitution to take place in the goalkeeper handball incident as i was unaware that the laws of the game are different in a friendly compared to a competituve game however at the same time i felt it was admirable and far better for the game.the 3 games i have been allowed to watch have all been encouraging and think we can go to stortford full of confidence.i hope we give them a similar performance to last seasons first game where i thought we were superb despite being beaten 3-1,and we move on where we left off last year rather than how we started that season.on to our final prep game at gosport now which should be a good test provided we dont have 3 players sent off again.COYR
