First friendly of the season saw the Rocks field numerous trialists, youth players and old boys returning. First half I thoight we were excellent. The trialists demonstrated a lot of ability the only disappointment was weonly lead 1.0 at half time with a goal from a trialist. However if chances had been taken we should have been 3 or 4 up!! 2nd half with about 9 changes the trialists again impressed and the lead was increased with a Crane goal who I thought looked good upfront. Then we had the incident where a trialist went down with nobody around him. Out cold for a long time, it looked bad for him. Fortunately he eventually came round and was taken off to hospital and the game abandoned. All in all a decent workout, some interesting new faces but I feel although Littlehampton were competitive a better assessment will be made on Friday against Gosport. A excellent gate of over 500!!

Yep agree fully with this.
I thought number 2 who we later found to Josh McCormick (played a few years back) suited what Robbie/Jamie like from their full backs as did Joe Rabbetts at left back. Sam De St Croix looks a very good addition. Also the trialist -if we could get him signed 👀
New centre forward that came on,looked good and scores. Oh it was James Crane.
