If that’s how it was to end, then it’s away to Billericay in the play-off semi. Tasty.

I am optimistic but then I was optimistic at the beginning of last season and squad not yet finalised. Attack - looks better than last season; mid-field - about the same; defence - about the same. Also, we seem to playing a more pressing game especially from up front. But, I reckon, bearing in mind injuries and events, upper mid-table.

I always used to say mid table obscurity with a good cup run, remember Ilford in the Amateur Cup, Aston Villa in the F.A.Youth cup and of course Colchester in the F.A.Cup our 1st visit to the first round proper being particularly memorable.
This season I'd go for a play off place (whatever that is), and again a good cup run, especially with how television is these days, with games being shown worldwide - Tranmere V Chichester was awesome down under, my friends were all impressed.

As not a lot has not changed, Id say mid table.

As not a lot has not changed, Id say mid table. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I disagree, personally think it’s been one of our best summer’s to date. Guess final day of the season, will be proof in the pudding.
