I would ask management about some of the changes - I don't understand for a second why Isaac was not playing? With the way they are shaping up Harvey/de st croix just dosent feel like great combo. Which may be harsh as nearly all the moments cray looked dangerous came from poor outlet balls into areas the midfeild never want the ball - Bragg absolutely sold Harvey out three times in this game in positions he should never pass the ball there.
Either way the spirit to come back was amazing and Nathan looked like a hugely improved player - not just the finish but his first touch looked worlds better than a year ago. I think its going to be a very exciting season come the end! COYR

Funny old game, it really was a game of 3 thirds. For an hour we looked disjointed and were on a hiding to nothing as we gave the ball away, were closed down quickly and generally 2nd player to virtually everything. Change the team about, make some subsitutions and for the last 30 totally dominated the game. When thr highlights come out watch the equaliser, that will need something special to stop it being goal of the season!!!! Overall although finishing the stronger team will take a point. These are the sort of games which are a bonus from where we were and shows the strength in depth of the squad. Onwards and upwards to Aveley Saturday where we need to play a lot better than the way we started. Special mention to the travelling fans in a crowd of 217 Bognor provided about 80+ The club is on s high at the mkment lets keep it going. COYR's !!

But he made hell of a difference coming on didn’t he. Point gained last night as opposed to tow dropped for me. Robbie and Jamie to be applauded for the substitutions 👏🏽

Great come back by the team last night. Shame it took 60 mins to get going. I still don't understand Calvin playing CDM. He isn't a CDM and never will be last season he had to play there as didn't have any other options but this season we have Sam de at croix. Yesterday Sam wasnt having the greatest game but that was because he was playing out of position. Then on 60 mins he played CDM instead of Calvin and was like a different player and played brilliant. Just shows play players in there correct positions and it helps massively. As a few of use keep saying. U can't fit round pegs in square holes so we need to stop trying to just to play certain player's. Years ago I remember Chris breach played a season where a fair chunk of it was at CDM and he awful but put him at center back he was always immense. Hopefully Robbie is learning from these games and will sort it soon.
But 4 points from the first 2 games is a great start and hopefully we can build on this and have a successful season.

4 points from the first 2 games is a brilliant start. Especially seeing one of those games was against hornchurch.
There seems to be a real feel good factor back at the club now that jack isn't manager. And that has held the club back for the last "6 weeks". But now The fans arnt fighting between themselves anymore and just enjoy the football club. And it's not all about jack. we can all just move on and enjoy the exciting future that hopefully is being built. With a good young management team in Robbie and Jamie.

I thought we took a long time to get going in the game last night. But the second half substitutions and a slight tweak to the formation allowed us to be at our best. Nathan Odokonyero has a lot of competition up front this season but he came on along with Isaac Olaniyan and they changed the game. Toby Steward made some good saves in the first half which also kept us in it. I thought Joe Rabbetts worked hard but OK didn't always make the right decisions but we haven't had a decent left back in a while but I think he poses a real threat on that flank. Harvey Whyte was solid again but agree about Calvin's current position. It was risky changing a winning side for this one but understand we have to be careful to avoid injuries. Amadou, Dayshonne Golding and friends in attendance all loved Nathan's belter and we won't see much better this season. Still unbeaten. Onto Aveley on Saturday. Come on you know!

Personally I thought we got bullied for the first two thirds of the game but what a turn around for the final half an hour. Squad selection could give Robbie and Jamie some nice headaches this season if we're firing on all cylinders and I think Jack deserves some credit here as I'm sure he had a hand in bringing some of the players in.

Wow! That second goal of Nathan’s surely has it all? Out wide and closely-marked, he had the vision, strength, speed and confidence to go past his man and get himself into a decent shooting position. And then the finish itself was pretty much perfect. (Selfishly, I just hope there were no scouts watching!)

DDefinitely, the substitutions were the catalyst that got us moving ....and in the end a draw was a good result based on our overall performance. No one played particularly badly....passes were awry in the first half ...but the changes in the second half rejuvenated the team and our reward was a draw. Well done for the fight back
My biggest problem of the night .....was a burger priced at £13.00 or £12.00 and a chicken burger at 12.00......chips 3.00 .......cheapest beer £4.40.
I thought we had turned up at the London Stadium and Cray were ground sharing with West Ham

Im sorry to see Jack spoken of like this. This is a man who joined this club when it was failing. What you see now is his legacy. He built it from virtually nothing. He had volunteers building the ground from nothing and with nothing. He had one of the best teams I had the pleasure of ever refereeing in the 70s, mostly youngsters who he had brought to the club and coached them in the Bognor way of playing. The crowds grew as did the club with Stan Rowlands as Chairman. Jack knows in conversations I had with him at the time, that he maybe should have retired to just overseeing the club much earlier than he did but thats life. After all he had achieved over many years for the club I can understabd his reluctance to stand down. People should remember the good times and also the not so good. He steered the club back to financial stability with the help of Simon Cook, after our disasterous flirtation in the Conference South. From that point, and with the help of many volunteers, the club and its facilities have grown to build a solid foundation for the future. I think its pretty sad when l read the above post. But this is a board where people can post their opinions and l respect that. I just dont agree and in the same vein l have posted mine.

I'd agree with Pete H. Although I have in the past been one of Jacks biggest critics, nobody can ever take away the legacy he's created. Perhaps he stepped back too late, who knows, but when he did decide it was time, he did so with great dignity. I'm also sure Jack is still working behind the scenes for the benefit of the club and all of the supporters. So it's now time to stop being critical of the past, look forward to the future with enthusiasm, and support Robbie, Jamie and the team with much gusto.
