Saturday sees the Rocks continue with their FA cup campaign against National League South club Hampton and Richmond. So far the Beavers have had an indifferent start to their league campaign winning just the one game, 2 draws and 4 defeats. At present they lie just above the relegation zone in 19th place. The Beavers were formed in 1921 under the name of Hampton FC and have just celebrated their 100 anniversary. In 1999 they changed their name to Hampton and Richmond to try and attract a big audience to their games ( their websites words not mine). Last time we played was in 2018 season in the the NLS. That year we lost both games closely. 1.2 at home and 1.0 away. Lets hope for a narrow victory this season The game also sees a return to the Lane of ex Rocks favourite Tommu Block

Great as our come back was last night, we shouldnt have to chase games and come back. I fear if we do the same on Sat we will not get an opportunity to come back.

Yet again we gave a silly goal away and finish off chasing the game. Thought we played well, however no end product. Very reminiscent of our year in the Conny South. Again we played the majority of the football but lacked the physicality of our opposition. We will play worse and win this season. FA Cup over for another year😥😥😥 would love to have had a cup run but hey ho🤷♂️🤷♂️. Back into the league this week and lets hope for a better draw in the trophy. COYR's!!!

Probably some of the best stuff I’ve seen us create this season.
On another day Nathan scores 2 of those 4 chances, but that’s football. Play similar against teams like that in the league we will win more than we lose or draw.

Yes, we played well. We had no luck or run of the ball in the final third. If we had and with the chances we created there could have been a much different result. They play a very direct game of football. Not one that l would like to watch every week. In football terms we were the better team, but unless you stop giving away silly early goals and score at the other end, the result doesnt change. They get two and win. Its that simple.

Thought we played ok however we give an early goal away so chasing game The keeper will be good but is not commanding enough and makes some silly mistakes ie throwing the ball early after equaliser on Tues hitting own defender , then yesterday on goal should I stay or should I go Thought Nathan had a good game but needs more Support from midfield ,we don't have enough creativity in midfield the teams that visited the lane so far seem to be a lot quicker and more physical than us Crane came on yesterday and did ok talking to players etc but the game was to quick for him , we just lacking at mo
