Next game up for the Rocks is on the road to the Movie Starr Stadium , Park Lane, Canvey to play Canvey Island. Following relegation in 2016/17 season Canvey were promoted last season and have enjoyed a steady start back in the Premier Division. At the present they lie just below the Rocks in 9th place with only goal difference seperating the 2 clubs. Over the last 10 games between the 2 clubs Bognor have enjoyed a fair amount of success winning 6, drawing 3 and only the 1 defeat lets hope that run of form continues ! The last 2 results between the clubs were back in the 2016/17 season with a 4.0 victory at the Lane and a 5.0 at Canvey. Infact Bognor have not failed to score in the last 10 games against them so lets hope that continues next weekend😊😊
Fans are reminded that there is a train strike next weekend so road travel will be yor only means of transport. The supporters club as usual are running a coach and there are a few seats left so anyone in coming please contact either Dave Robinson or Ken Wood or see away day travel. However you choose to get there safe travels and lets hope for another win on the road. COYR's !!

What time does the coach leave?
Been a while since I’ve been to a Canvey Island away day. Both sides literally identical in the league, hopefully we get to witness a good performance and a win.

Just got home and still trying to understand how we lost this game. A good end to end game, both sides playing good football. Despite missing 7 players through injury and suspension Bognor enjoyed long periods of dominance. However a failure to convert chances, and an inability to defend meant that despite being 1.0 and 2.1 up we were never comfortable. Bognor's vulnerability to the counter attack caught us out twice, and in the end Canvey sneaked a 3.2 victory. We go again next week in the trophy where we hope for a better all round performance, hopefully a few of our injured players might be available as well as our 2 suspended players returning.

Kinda gutted not to come away with something from yesterdays game. End to end by both sides, personally thought we shaded the first marginally. But couldn’t get ourselves ahead going into the break. Long balls after us being on the attack is our Achilles heel again, which is a shame as a win yesterday would have made that league table look much nicer for us.
