Another home game in amongst England’s World Cup fixtures, which is great news as hopefully we grab those people who are looking for a live football fix.
Just wondering if the club could be clever, and throw out there a Bognor World Cup season ticket say 4 games for the price of 3 or similar etc etc
Anyway up the rocks.

If England finish second in the group, their second round fixture will clash with our home game with Hastings - Saturday 3 December 3pm. I’m assuming the club are aware and have a contingency plan in place (eg. Earlier kick-off).

As you will see above, Goldy has also asked a question regarding the World cup dates and our home games. We havnt looked at anything yet but may I suggest that you email Simon and he will then discuss these ideas with the committee. I personally do not have any say in these sorts of things as they are for the committee to decide on. But the club are grateful for any new ideas and Im sure every consideration will be given to them.

It is quite a way off and England won’t know their fate until less than seven days beforehand if they are to be involved in the knockout stages. Some clubs have already made changes to their weekend fixture though.

Don't see the problem here. Who in their right mind would want to watch England when they can watch the Rocks instead.

Looks like there’s no need Peter, according to what it says on the website

Looks like there’s no need Peter, according to what it says on the website Yes, Statto, you are correct. This all happened yesterday so I am sure you will realize that things moved quickly as Simon was involved in a discussion with several other clubs yesterday where they would have been affected by the games being played on the two dates concerned and of course, in one case, the kick-off time. I think with respect to the Hastings game, it was the best option to wait to see if England qualify on the Tuesday previous to our Saturday game. This left an option to switch the kick-off time if it was necessary. It was a no-brainer to switch the date of the Cray match in order there that was no clash with the England game. I would also like to thank you and one or two others for their forward-thinking and suggestions. The club does listen and its good to see supporters coming forward with them.
