Horsham, Lewes and Worthing all through to the 4th qualifying round of the FA Cup. Meanwhile Rocks scratching around in mid-table. Sums up our season so far I'm afraid.

Almost the perfect display today. Mistake by Calvin unfortunately has cost us dearly leading to them equalising but that’s football Enough positives to take from the game for sure.

Just frustrating to gift a team a goal who looked like they would struggle to score one of their own in three games. Worse when it comes from on our most consistent and solid performers. Was a real lesson in putting a game away - should have been 2-3 clear in 30 minutes! Oh well, we go again next week.

Season 9 games old and you are writing it off!! Something like 10 new players into the squad this season which will take probably 10 to 12 games to settle into a pattern. Youhave also picked on 3 Sussex clubs who all have 2 things in common, money and astro turf pitches. Perhaps when/Bognor get theres the playing field mighy become more of an interesting playing field🤔🤔

Have you looked at the table dingle? A couple of wins and we are in the play offs.

We are actually only 3 points off the playoffs Peter. If we hadn't thrown away points in 3/4 games this season we would actually be very nicely positioned. And as I said the team are still getting used to each other. Still sometimes fans tend to air on the side of negativity!!!😡😡😡

To cityboy and Pete - I did actually say 'sums up our season so far'. I've certainly not written off Rocks this season.
We are, in fact, 8 and 9 points off the top two having played a game more but I acknowledge its still early days.

Think those in attendance at the game will tell you we defended superbly and the new lad Rueben Livesy Austin (Worthing) fitted in well, just a silly mistake led to the goal. Our pattern of plays throughout the game were also pleasing to the eye. Smithy just needs one to go in off his backside, when it proper clicks we will tonk a team or two.

I understand people being frustrated, when you look so good for long passages of play and keep not quite getting over the line its natural. We knew this was going to be a really tough league this year but everything I've seen the potential to go on a really good run is there with this group!
I think the managment team have put together a really exciting squad with a lot of players who clearly give a Feck about playing for the club - get behind them and hopefully those fine margins in the game will slowly get cleaned up, even if its not as fast as everyone might want its in there! As for Smithy, had a great first half - just could see that lack of matches in second. Thought his work for our goal was top tier forward play.
