Enjoyed that. A threat down the flanks. Defensively very good. Two quality sets of fans. Attendance: 1,215

Is love to have been there but I'm in Scotland. Listened to it on Rocks radio. A win on Saturday and we could make a real challenge for the play offs.

A great team effort, every player can hold their head high today. Could have easily been anyone from 6 or 7 for man of the match. Players coming back from injury gave the Rocks a strong bench and allowed decisive substitutions. Good crowd and decent atmosphere well done everyone. Hopefully we can build on this result Saturday against Canvey Island, and Monday v Lewes. Continue in this vein of form could easily see the team totter on the edge of the playoffs.
All is looking promising at the moment both off the pitch and on it!!!
COYR's !!!

Have to say disappointed at the arrogance on the Horsham twitter who put their defeat down to a below par performance and not to Bognor's performance. About time their tweeter realised you can only play as well as the opposition allows you, and today we were the better team!!

Not much to add really,as all has been said. What you could tell,we’ve obviously been to watch Horsham a few times, everytime they got a goal kick the players instantly went into their roles and formation. Not allowing them a quick release with a man over. Substitutions also coming on and playing a huge part in a game I personally enjoyed watching. Even better knowing we’ve finally got one over them. Ryan Hall turning into a great signing this summer,3/4 crucial saves, how many times have we played a team and their keeper had done the same against us and frustrated us,what was lovely yesterday we replayed him by scoring twice. Great battles between Lucas and ex rock Harvey sparks with Lucas finally getting the better of him in the second half.
Keep the flow going at home, win points/entertain and keep those crowds coming (let’s get that average as close to 1000) by the end of the season.
Atmosphere was superb by both sets of fans. One thing I’ve enjoyed down the club this season is it’s an enjoyable vibe, with lots of new younger supporters coming through.
Up The Rocks 💚

Another thing def in our favour (obviously a long way to go still) is we have played 3 more away games than home. Given the home form it should give us a really solid base to make run with the upcoming games! Hoping I can make one of the games over the weekend 🥳

The old cliche in football, win your home games and get points away from home and you’ll do. Like Mbinmo (think I said that right) we do have a lot of home games coming up,and what a great chance to get behind and back the lads. I don’t do as many away games as I used to but going on peoples reports the only game we’ve not maybe deserved something was Hornchurch. Genuinely that was one of Robbie’s best games as Rocks manager, got everything pretty spot on. Even key substitutions when needing them. Don’t mean draw attention to players, but Spencer Spurway for his age and versatility has to be applauded. Something we’ve got a lot of this season, but we’re using those players in the correct positions.

Second half performance was the best I have seen this season. Calvin doesn't always get the praise he deserves, but what a shift he put in. Ben Anderson for someone who has been out for a while was superb in the second half. Robbo was coolness itself in everything he did, and alongside him Spencer was excellent. And behind them all Ryan was superb. Lucas must be giving Harvey Sparks nightmares. He couldn't get near him. Horsham I felt were a little one dimensional and didn't really change anything at all. I was very surprised Tucky didn't make an appearance, he appears to be well out of favour there. Personally I would love to see him back at the Lane. A great Christmas lift from the lads.

Anyone read the Horsham comments after the game in interview I think with Steve Bone. Talk about sour grapes, Their manager is an arrogant d*ck. He was obviously watching a different game to the 1200+ fans. Mind you their twitter acvount was just as bad. No praise for our performance all about an underpar performance from them. Think their management and staff are worried about not going up again this season after all the money they have spent / are spending. Now that would be funny😂😂😂😂

Something we’ve got a lot of this season, but we’re using those players in the correct positions. In the away games I've been too (i get to more as i live in London) even that lack of results has not represented the performances for me. We played Enfield off the park and but for a layer of paint on the inside of the post would have been 3-0 up in 30 minutes. Billericay was potentially the best I've seen a team play and lose. Potters bar was another where we should have had them dead at halftime, then gift them a goal with a very out of character Fecking up from Calvin, second half performance wasnt great but they didnt look like breaking us down until that. Chatham while we didnt have any real teeth in the final third, they rarely left their half in the 2nd and chatting to their fans in the sun and drinking far too much after the game they were all saying they had not seen that team pinned in like that in a long time and it was also clear they were going to be very good/well funded. Cheshunt was the only one where it was just pretty abject for me, the ease we just picked open with was hard to stomach - even then we had enough chances to get back in the game. Hornchurch hard to really judge as a good game before a nash wonderstrike - then when matty gets sent off its just all over really. The negative things I see it seems to tend to come from people I don't remember seeing at games. Sometimes the PR side of the club can be a little OTT but who cares, anything thats pushing the club and trying to get the local community engaged is fine by me. I think anyone who follows non league football knew this was going to be very hard and competative division this season, the recruitment and direction from the club this year is as good as I can remember in a long time and (so far at least) it seems in a sustainable manner using localish players. The challenge now (as always?) is holding on to players who have the ability to play higher.

Think what’s been quite nice and noticeable recently. Players playing in correct positions so the starting 11 doesn’t feel disjointed. Alfie slotting into the midfield 3,naturally a left footer that can also defend and attack. Hopefully with Jasper due back/Dan also, that’s some good selection problems for Robbie and Jamie.
