Superb from start to finish today. Every player. We proper came out of the blocks early doors and rewarded with two early’ish goals. Chatham causing threats but either Ryan Hall or some excellent defending keeping them at bay. For me it’s starting to click, and it’ shows in the way we’re playing at present. Let’s get on a winning run Rocks, see you Tuesday.

Couldn't disagree with anything said above. This season the club have bought in 11 new players. This is a massive change around gor a team and they have taken a time to settle, however the last month the team has started to gel. We have probably thrown away about 12 to 15 points this season from winning positions. Had we taken those points we would be in 3rd position !! Let's hope for a positive 2nd half of the season and see how high we can finish. A late surge to the play offs is not beyond this squad. Excellent performance will have sent another impressive crowd home happy. The Lane is certainly becoming a fortress. Up the Rocks !!

Brilliant all round today, performance, atmosphere, effort and seeing the game out. Also, two forced subs and we took it in our stride. Giff out too, you'd not fancy our chances with all that but we did it! Lots of new faces, plenty of singing and a real buzz about the place.

What a pulsating game that was. It had everything in it with a healthy crowd totally absorbed in it and playing their part too. Against all odds, the whole team pulled the rabbit out of the hat and won the three points. Energy spirit and determination to succeed and a great performance to boot. Lets keep it going on Tuesday night. Forget the Lewes result, we are going to put a run together now and who knows.

An archetypal bravura performance from the Rocks, especially initially, except chances were converted into goals this time. Very exciting to see Mather and Smith together in the middle, Pattenden was virtually unplayable, all against a pretty dull and niggly Chatham side. Delighted to see Smith score and it seemed to invigorate him for the rest of the match, especially when the Rocks had to dig in in the second half. Hope Burgess enjoyed his stint as loose inside forward/forward sweeper. Had me confused. Some outstanding individual performances but Rabbets was MOTM - some amazing footwork and escapes. Just thinking - if Lucas had met that cross in the second half some 3 feet to the right, it would have been 3-0. Compliments to the officials, not as bad as I thought they would be. Massive elbow in Smith's back - not a foul. Fifteen coaches in the technical area - not a problem. Manager on the pitch, kicking the ball and ranting during play - not a problem. Comment from a player (presumably) - yellow card.
