News today that Taunton Town are in serious diificulty. Also that Nuneaton Borough are inthe process of winding up. This season, a number of clubs such as Marske and North Shields are finished with more in serious difficulty. All l would say is this, over the years when things havnt been brilliant at the Rocks, one thing your committee, over the years, have tried to do is keep a steady ship. Weve all been frustrated at times, but l think its safe to say, prudance over many years, sometimes where the playing side has suffered, has made for a steady ship financially. We have a lot to be thankful for

Fully agree. Cut to your cloth.
I completely understand fans' frustrations at The Rocks not pushing forwards as they'd / we'd have liked to have done in the last few years, but we've been promoted to and then struggled in the 'Conference South' twice before (plus you have to factor in the extra travelling / costs involved at that level for starters), and the club has been relatively and reassuringly stable over time, for which I for one have been very grateful.
I'd rather have a team doing reasonably well within their means than a team which folds and, in the case of Nuneaton Borough over previous years, resurrects and crashes, then resurrects again etc., and they're not the only team to do so by any means. Even Hornchurch have had the crash / burn / re-evolve model happen to them.
Be thankful for what you've got, and be careful for what you wish for. Oh, and up The Rocks!

100% agree with you Peter. If it happens it will be the 3rd time that Nuneaton Borough have been liquidated. That is surely down to continual bad management of funds🤔🤔🤔
