What to say thought we played well and did enough to win the game but yet again let down by awful refereeing. Thought up until 80 mins the ref was ok but after that he lost the plot and obviously caved in to the thugs on the sideline. I'm convinced it wasn't a red card and looked like a tangle of legs but of course the ref loves to be center of attention as always and messed the game up from then on. The 2 home games before today the refs have been an absolute joke. awful decisions for both teams and no protection against bad tackles. It's always said nationwide we don't have enough refs so we need to be nice to them and respect them. Maybe if they were consistent every game rather than being constantly sh*t every game maybe fans would start to respect them.
Up until the sending off the defence was solid. Thought Douglas was stand out in defence today but saying that all the back 4 were great. Dan Smith playing defensive midfield did well to and that position seemed to suit him today. Can't fault the team at all and proud of them. Just generally feel so down about how the game turned out in the end.

Agree with fish and chips. It was a dreadful decision, and the ref made his mind up very quickly. He was pulling the red card out of his pocket as he ran up to the scene from about 30 yards behind. A referee who has refereed us before was watching the game, was in line and he said it was never a red card. No doubt he cost us the game which was incredibly unjust. Hornchurch must have had an off day, they were very ordinary. And then the ref had his dream come true when he brandished the red card at Robbie. We go to watch football, not referee's. I wish they would leave their egos at home.

Think this probably describes how most Bognor fans felt at the final whistle. Officiating again let us down. It was like Hornchurch are top of the league and can't possibly lose to a little club like Bognor!! Any 50/50 decision went the visitors way. Inconsistency with bookings ruining a competitive game. As for the red card absolute shocker not seen by anybody else in the ground; including Hornchurch officials. This decision changed the way the game finished. As for the foul mouthed thuggish Essex pikey fans at the end;what a total bunch of ar*es. Hornchurch have thrown the money at promotion this season and will go up as champions, however that team will find it different next season unless the officials continue to support them

Currently watching match of the day and the arsenal game. I couldn't care less who wins but even with var they are still completely cocking up decisions. Brentford defender arms round a arsenal players neck and pulled to the floor so obviously penalty yet even the var ref can't see it and didnt give a penalty. Then havertz already on a yellow card. A clear dive trying to win a penalty. There's no contact and a shocking dive. The ref doesn't give it so if it's not a penalty then to go down like that it must be a dive yet the ref doesnt see it as not brave enough and bottled it. Unfortunately at every level the game is being let down by refs who love being center of attention. All fans want is at the end of a game think I didn't really notice the ref today and that must mean he had a decent game.

Not left a game of football gutted like that for years. Agree with fish and chips I actually thought the ref till nearer the end of the game was fair on both sides, nobody got the one sided decisions.
Positives we’ve matched another top 6 at home for 90 minutes which could have so easily been 3 points. But can see why Hornchurch are top,as they just stuck their game plan. The two subs practically changing the game for them. It’s hard to be not disheartened, but we need to dust ourselves off ready for Tuesday and get back into some rhythm.
