Bitterly disappointing result with even more injuries to an already threadbare squad. My massive gripe is yet again a result has been hugely influenced by totally inept officials. Dulwich get 2 penalties, one was the correct decision but the 2nd was for a tackle outside the area; clearly shown by the divot that was made outside the penalty box. However when the same thing happened to Dan Gifford nothing given. Whenever Bognor got a corner the goons at the back for Dulwich were holding and all over the Bognor forwards nothing was given even though it could be clearly seen by the linesman. Unfortunately more and more games are being decided by very weak officials😡😡😡. We go again Tuesday but hopefully the officials will be stronger and not spoil the game.

It seems to be the usual thing to blame the officials when Bognor lose. In both the Hornchurch and the Dulwich matches its the officials that get the blame funny thing whenever Bognor win there is no mention of poor refereeing I am sure that officials do their best but occasionally get things wrong and have a bad game as do players I am sure from time to time Pete Helsby had a disappointing match as referee we are after all only human but to consistently blame the officials when ever Bognor lose is to say the least a little unfair!

Fair point my main problem with yesterday's ref was the fact that he allowed so much blatant grappling. I appreciate it something that occurs regularly, particularly higher up the leagues, but most refs will eventually take action when it reaches the level we were witnessing. Generally though I thought the team fought well considering all the injury problems. I guess the small squad is now causing all sorts of difficulties & needless to say it comes down to finance as well as giving everyone in the squad sufficient playing time etc. Glad I'm not the manager!

I have just been made aware of damage to the sign & lighting at the entrance by the pavement which could cause a nasty injury, hopefully someone reading this knows who to contact.

I love it when somebody comments but doesn't actually attend the game to witness the match. Perhaps those that actually attend the game might know what they are talking about rather than make controversial comments from a far. Sometimes if you are not there its better to say nothing🤔🤔 I think if you asked 90% of the crowd in the last 2 games their opinion they will agree!!

Don't comment on things you don't know then and say we are only blaming the ref for a loss. The last 10 or 12 games win lose or draw the refs have been nothing short of embarrassing. So many poor decisions my favourite being last Tuesday against whitehawk the ref giving a throw in saying the ball went out of play. And the lines man saying it didn't go out and didn't flag to say it went out. Shows the refs do what ever they want it's pathetic. All the refs want is to run around and be center of attention and completely ruining good games of football. Can't remember a season where the standard of refing has been so bad. Yesterday from 14 minutes onwards when they scored there gk must have been told 20/ 25 times to hurry up by the ref but didn't. yet still didn't even get booked and the time not added on. Maybe the club are marking the refs to highly and the fa think we are a easy ride to send crap refs to fast track them.

These officials are having a major influence on the game. Never in the 50 plus years I have been going down the ground have I seen such poor officiating. Its a shame fans are now talking more about the officials than the game!!!

A very fair summing up of the afternoon. This grappling in the area is a serious problem in the game and you are quite correct you see ait at senior level all the time.
