As I don't go on any of the sites mentioned this is the first time I have seen the item in this article. Absolutely brilliant summing up of non-league footie.

Really good assessment of reasons for following non league football and one i can associate with having been a liverpool season ticket holder until early 90s.my only hope is that enough non league clubs will survive the current situation to ensure that current professional following fans will have the opportunity to watch lower level football at the surprisingly high standard that we are used to seeing.thanks to jack and the board we should be ok,although how many others in our league can say the same remains to be seen.particularly enjoyed part about 150 mile away days.i loved going to the brightlingseas, leistons, lowestoft, sudburys and bury towns amongst others in the past.COYR

Fully agree with the rich sentiment of the article and the above responses.
Despite being a stranger for the past three seasons due to issues completely unconnected with the club and entirely to do with the poisoned cobweb of my life, I'd like to thank Jack and the committee for their tireless work behind the scenes (though us supporters should be trusted and told more when it happens, that's a minor issue in context, but Simon Cook deserves nothing but high praise), the supporters' club for an excellent job, the supporters for turning up and doing their bit game after game, and the players and dugout staff for maintaining a high, mostly enjoyable and, above anything else, honest level of commitment.
I'd also like to say very tough luck on Worthing, who deserved better at the end of the truncated season. Apart from a few notable people here and there, Bognor and Worthing gnash their teeth at each other but actually rub along pretty well. Long may that continue.
