Jack hit the nail on the head when he said after the two goals went in at Hayes we became a rabble and not a team anymore. As I tend to only attend away games I’ve have noticed often that we always have tended to get bullied on the road, often in places like East Anglia. I didn’t go to the Cheshunt game so can’t comment on our performance there. What I would add is we haven’t had any leaders in our team for a long time now. Ever since Dan Beck left we have been missing someone who gets stuck in and does some actual talking on the pitch. I said in my podcast to Liam that can we make a mould of Michael Birmingham as we badly need a leader. Maybe football doesn’t have those sort of players anyone but I know a team with Dan Beck, Michael Birmingham, Tim Bond and Stuart Axten wouldn’t have rolled over like the current team did at Hayes.
