Interesting comment from somebody who knows nothing about our away day travel and has never been on our coaches. I can assure you the away day travel conforms to all safety measures as laid down by the Government. Temperatures are taken before people get on the coach. We take bigger coaches at a loss to the supporters club to aid with distancing and masks remain on at al times !! Therefore your comments are totally without any foundation. If you want to discuss further please feel free to call me direct.

Seems to me the SC coaches are essentially private travel, enabling members to avoid public transport, just as the government advises?

I accept this is nothing to do with BRTFC coach trips but it seriously makes one think. There was a picture on the Petersfield Twitter from on the board the coach bound for Clapton. Full of passengers old and young, didn't appear spaced out, beer cans in hand. What happens a few days later a club statement is issued advising that someone on there had tested positive! Be careful folks, keep your distance but enjoy your trips.

I dont use the clubs coaches very often as im not a good traveller by road,so tend to use the train whenever possible, however I think as dave alluded to,with temperatures being taken prior to boarding and the insistence of masks being worn throughout the journey, the supporters club are definately taking the virus seriously and aiming to protect each other as much as possible.i for one would certainly not worry about booking a seat on the coach if that was my best option to see a game and applaud everyone involved for providing a service to allow those that ordinarily wouldnt be able to make the game without this service to give the lads what I'm sure is much appreciated support.clearly the Petersfield photo would suggest that mask wearing etc was not made compulsory plus maybe they weren't willing to subsidise and run at a loss so filled their coach.COYR
