Maybe it's me, but can anyone provide an easy click link to get a ticket?
Thame United's website's useless - it seems to be a catch-all for them, their reserves and Thame Rangers who groundshare there.
I also noticed United do online programmes for games, including their previous FA Trophy tie, so anyone looking for a paper souvenir will probably be disappointed.
Still, I understand that nice Mr. Robinson has been asked to bring my sponsored Rocks shirt for my delectation, so I'll be there!

As far as I can see, Thame United have had one crowd in excess of 200 since 2018. They average 142 so far this season. How many socially distanced coaches do you plan to take?

I don't want to gainsay what Pete has stated above since he is just repeating quite rightly what he has been told. But, from what I know, the "local authority" has no legal right to say whether the tea bar should be open or closed - this is all bollox. I am expecting the thought police/covid marshals knocking on my door any minute now!

Kof, I think you will find that local authorities have been given the right to look at each application in its own right to make a decision on its merits. Littlehapton were allowed to open theirs last week.

To back up what Pete says - local councils do have some say on this - as long as a business or club is not blatantly going against the general rules of which tier they are in, the council can allow certain things. Just for once, common sense prevailing!

Quite a few opened this weekend for friendlies or those league matches which were allowed. By the way, I hope those dissenting Millwall fans took the knee.... in the groin.

I don't know what conditions are like in Thame but long stretches of the M40 between the M25 and Stokenchurch have been enveloped in thick fog all day. Anyone driving up for the game game would be well-advised to allow plenty of time and check traffic / weather reports en route.

A wonderful result to win 5-2 at Thame United. Lets hope we get a home tie in the next round and that both sides agree to play it on Saturday.
The worst scenario would be being drawn away to Truro. Please no!

Phew! A right old rollercoaster and never a dull moment. Never three goals between the sides, either.
We were very slow to get going, worst point being a poor corner which was turned into a breakway and a decent effort for the hosts and, but for poor finishing and some excellent saves by Amadou, we should have been two down before we eventually went three up by half time. Brad scored after 20 minutes with a direct free kick helped into the net by the home custodian Chris Rackley, whose luck worsened ten minutes later when a dasiy cutter short corner on the slick pitch crept in at the near post off a combination of keeper and defender. Jordy hit a pearler in the 40th to make it look safe. Erm...
Thame never gave up, started the second half the quicker and stronger, and scored in the 50th and 73rd through Ryan Blake and Greg Hackett to make it game on, and deservedly so. Luckily, the homesters' intent to throw themselves forward for an equaliser left them vulnerable to sharp breaks which we're past masters at, and a 78th minute thumper from Cooky and a virtuoso solo goal from Brad four minutes later made it safe. With Thame finally deflated, Brad had three more good efforts to get his hat-trick and we went close on a couple of other occasions, but the final score was harsh on Thame who made a real effort of it.
A good away contingent and numerous game-starved fans in other teams' colours at a soulless venue. It's more like a leisure complex with a pitch tacked on the side. The only cover was attached to the complex, and ridiculous too - it's so far away from the pitch that fans aren't allowed to stand in the ten yards of the gangway in front of or to the sides of the seats. Watching the game from this side was almost like being at West Ham's Taxpayers Stadium!

Make no bones about it,this was nowhere near as comfortable as the scoreline suggests.in fact we could just as easily been 3 down in the 1st half as opposed to 3 up if it wasn't for some wasteful finishing, good saves from amadou and lady luck for once smiling down on us.in fact our first 4 goals all had a small amount of luck attached.the first came from a free kick 25yds out which jordy won/bought depending on your persuasion,it was certainly soft but finished beautifully by brad in the top corner despite the keeper having got a hand to it after Tommy had tried from a similar position 10mins earlier but had clearly been aiming for the new stand at the nye camp.at least it seemed like it.the 2nd came from an Ashton corner that the keeper and defender got in a tangle together under pressure from Harvey forcing an own goal.the 3rd was an excellent goal in as much as brad ran with the ball from deep in our half to deep in theirs before laying it off to jordy to dink it over the keeper with aplomb however the move started from what looked a clear foul to them deep in our half, one which wouldve probably been given 99 times out of a 100.so went in 3 up somehow.to be fair thame had contributed to a good game to this point on a very slick pitch in the rain and came out all guns blazing and deservedly got 2 back.we couldn't seem to get going much in the 2nd half until kane came on.he gave us an extra dimension with his skill and pace.cooky scored the 4th after a lay off from Kate following a corner but again our bit of luck came from their number 5 deciding he needed treatment in the box prior to the corner, which lasted about 15secs and meant he had to leave the field whilst we took the corner,a point proved by brad winning a header which the tall number 5 may have prevented.brad rounded off the scoring with a super solo goal and had a few attempts to complete his hatrick when others were perhaps better placed.it felt like our complacent attitude in the 2nd half was more in keeping with the stortford and cheshunt performances rather than say the margate but we will certainly improve.a good result and plenty to work on going forward.great to see the new shirts, good rocks fans turnout and live football again.onto the next round and maybe another attempt at reaching Wembley.COYR
