Interesting interview on BBC Radio Solent this morning with Havant and Waterlooville manager Paul Doswell.
He always talk a lot of sense and was very much in favour of suspending the National League South (and North) campaigns for the time being. It is becoming more and more difficult to play each week regardless of whether clubs have outbreaks of Covid in their midst. H & W had already told the league they would not be playing anymore games in the foreseeable future. The expense and hassle of putting on games was becoming too onerous and not just the testing of players. Dressing rooms had to be spotlessly cleaned etc. at regular intervals and now the prospect of grants being turned into loans was the final straw for many clubs. He think the National League may follow suit.
As far as Bognor Regis FC and others at our level is concerned the right decision was made last November and the quicker this season is cancelled the better - so that we can all start afresh (hopefully) in August for season 2021/22.

Good post dingle and my sentiments completely. Its time the FA made a decision, certainly for step 3 and below. Lets put an ebd to this farce and keep everyone safe
