Great news for the young lad. Good luck to him and fingers crossed he gets a contract from them. Well done Ethan

That's wonderful news for young Ethan who has certainly impressed in his short time at Nyewood Lane. He is technically very good and certainly has the attributes to succeed.
I know that before joining us Ethan played at Pompey as a defensive midfielder, but he played for us very impressively in central defence. It will be interesting to see where Brentford consider his best position. Hopefully he'll get some matches for their U-23's.
Ethan now just needs the most important component, which is a large slice of luck.

And remember a long time ago now Bognor's last export to Brentford was local boy Andy Woon way back in 1973. He went on to make around 50+ appearances and scored 12 goals for them.
Can stattsman come up with the number of games and goals from his time at Bognor as Wikapedia doesn't show them?

And with ex Worthing player Finn on the bench regularly and playing a hand full of games for the first team it shows Our respective clubs have an eye for class players.!!

Yes, Wyn wasn't a bad player either and stayed local for most of his playing career.
As far as Andy Woon goes he scored a hat-rick on his Brentford league debut - the only Bees player ever to have done that - on 10 February 1973 in a 5-0 thrashing of Port Vale. He left Brentford at the end of season 1974-75. The transfer fee Rocks received in February 1973 was £1,000.
