Great pics Ian. Thanks for posting Steve. For those of us who - for one reason or another - haven't been able to get down to the Lane since last season was voided, it is SO encouraging to see that the club is not just surviving but is continuing to make progress off the field. Huge thanks to all involved 'behind the scenes'; it can't be easy.

Is there much / any more construction left to do on the new end cover? I posted the pictures on the Kempster forum (giving due copyright) and someone's asked that question.

Hi Rattlesnake/Eddie,
The construction of the cover at the Seasons End is virtually complete. However there are still some items outstanding. The front has been designed so that it will take panelling with advertising but not surprisingly we have not been able to get anyone to commit to this sort of advertising or sponsorship in the current economic climate.
The protective fencing at the rear of the stand will be completed this coming weekend.
Hope all is well with you. Simon

Hi Simon. Thanks for the prompt response. Going through the wringer with both work and family problems (again!), but at least I get my Covid jab on Friday. Looks like it'll be the highlight of the week! Hope all's well with you and yours.

Just saw some pictures of the Nye Camp on Twitter following the working party at the weekend looking wonderful. With regards to the this new covering at the Seasons End do you know if anything is going up at the back of the covering where it's quite open to the elements still? Would also help with the acoustics if it's more enclosed I see Simon has mentioned some protective fencing at the rear end of the stand? Also any joy with any sponsoring/advertising for the panelling at the front I think it will look even better when this is all up as well.
