Meanwhile, I see the manager of Maldon and Tiptree (the idiot who forced us to play that Trophy tie midweek instead of the free weekend before it?) has been installed as manager of Colchester United for thre rest of the season. Guess who I want to see get relegated out of the League now.

Lets be honest, this decision cant have come as any suprise to anyone.
Had they considered to carry on playing it would have meant most clubs playing three and for some four games a week to complete the seasoneven extending the season. No fair onthe players, most who have other jobs.

The correct decision of course which should have been made many weeks ago to end the uncertainty in all our (football) lives.
As Pete says completing the season just wasn't feasible. Lets look forward to 2021/22 season starting on (probably) Sat 14 August and hope Rocks can retain the playing staff who were doing well last Autumn and developing into a useful squad.

Has anyone else noticed that every time Harvey Whyte scores, the season gets abandoned?

Thst reminds me (can't think why!)... someone asked me the other day whether, as the season has been declared void, all disciplinary points for bookings and sendings off are rescinded, so that players start next season with a clean sheet. Anyone know the answer please?
