What a great pre-season game. Great effort by all those that made this fixture happen1

How have Burton ended up coming to Nyewood Lane? Are they based locally with a pre-season training camp? I can't imagine they would be travelling just to play us, but I can't see that they have any other local fixtures nearby.
It's certainly an attractive pre-season game for The Rocks and if we can give it enough publicity I'm sure we could get a reasonable crowd.

As Match Secretary, I received a message containing a request from Burton Albions Secretary asking if we would be able to play a pre-season fixture at the Lane on Sat 10th July. I immediately contacted Jack and the fixture was firmed up. Burtons first team squad are spending a few days on the coast and needed a fixture. We have obviously been very willing to oblige.

As Peter says it all came about because Burton are spending their pre-season on the South Coast instead of Portugal!!!. They wanted a game on a good quality grass pitch and not many beat Bognor's for that!! Win, win situation good old Sunny Sussex by the Sea and a great pitch thrown in😊😊😊 happy days

Have quite an interest from family to watch this game. Will tickets be available to book on line or is it at the gate?

Apologies for asking again but can we buy tickets for the Burton Albion game next Saturday at the turnstile? Also are there any Covid checks being made such as proof of Injections / tests?

In addition to Nautique’s question, will the attendance be limited like last season’s matches? The club website doesn’t appear to have the option of buying tickets online for the home friendlies.

Ian Guppy responded to me via email :- entry payable at gate, no Covid checks at ground but people should be careful.

Paphos
I think it's been taken a little out of context.
Each person has their own individual responsibility, as with life in general to not attend if they are showing symptoms or should be isolating.
We'll still be temperature checking on arrival and the standard mask request wearing in certain areas of the ground etc.
As with all of this we can only do a certain amount. The rest lays with that individual person/persons.
Personally I can't wait to see football back at the Lane without any restrictions but sadly can't see at for a while but hope that everyone attending enjoys the game.
Hope you're well
Ian

Correct Ian. No one seems to complain about going to a supermarket to do some shopping. Its an individual thing and you make your own choices.

Thanks for clarifying that Ian thought it odd there wouldn’t at least be a temperature check let’s hope for a good crowd
