Well I will be the first to start it. Yet again another disappointing result. We are leaking goals almost as quickly as Arsenalš¤£. In all seriousness if we don't sharpen up Monday v the old enemy could be embarrassing. On the positive side if we could get our decision making in the final 25 right we could have had 3 or 4 goals ourselves. There is no doubt the loss of Robbo to the stupid red card v Stortford is costing us. Our luck has to change soon lets hope and prey our season starts on Monday ššš¤š¤

This is obviously some sort of local Worthing patois used by the idiot. Is there anyone out there who can translate it into English?

Agree with what you have posted. So disappointing to lose to a side who was not as good as Stortford. We miss Robbo and his influence at the back. The worse news is that Joe Cook may have cracked his toe and Jake suffered a Concussion so both are likely to be unavailable on Monday and for the foreseeable future. Looks like it will be a very patched-up side on Monday. We virtually gave them the two goals just standing off and not tackling. We had battered them in the first 15 minutes. The invited us to attack by parking the bus in the second half and from the forwards point of view, they are going to have to dramatically improve their decision making. Many times shooting from bad angles instead of making chances for each other. We can look pretty and have most of the possession in games, but goals count and our record in that department is sadly lacking.

Until we ditch the two wingers and leaving a striker up top on his own, this will forever be our problem and thatās lacking goals. Nathan showed with his goal where he will be most dangerous and thatās pitching around the six yard. Donāt care if Jordy is a winger, stick him up top and would probably have more of the ball than he does on the wing. Talented player but so frustrating. But has an eye for goal.
Yesterday was frustrating, but weāve gotta get used to that. We was To slow around the pitch yesterday. And with worthings high press and movement, the players need to up their game unfortunately for Tomorrow. Big crowd, good weather. Hopefully everybody will enjoy a decent game played in the right manner on and off the pitch.

The key turning point for me was when the referee allowed Harringay to take the free kick which led to the second goal when we only had 9 men on the pitch. They were incredibly professional in exploiting the gaps that created. I agree with N & V that we need our front men to be more central. Pperhaps we should even consider going back to a 4 4 2 formation. Things will turn. we have too many excellent players for it not to. We are suffering from a run of bad luck and injuries but we will climb the league. I would like to see James Crane back tomorrow, his influence and experience is something we need. A season lasts a lot longer than 3 games. Keep the faith.

Agree with what has been said, especially about the free kick which led to the goal, a bit off by the referee, I thought. Also, what stood out for me was that the forwards, whilst very skilful, often lose it under the pressure of the moment, e.g. the penalty, several wild shots when in on goal, and hasty passes/crosses when under little pressure. JP commented as such to Nathan in one instance. Not easy, I know, but probably down to inexperience, I suspect. Hopefully, this can be worked on and improved.

Poor defending, weak midfield & no effective threat up front until the last ten minutes. So not much to sort out! Really frustrating when considering the nasty attitude of the opposition. Harsh I know but it is early days & hopefully when the management have decided on the best starting eleven played in the most effective positions I'm sure things will improve.

Craig Robson's three match ban has certainly proved costly in the last two games. And I'm sure he'll be missed at Worthing also. With a first choice team on the pitch for 90 mins we look decent on paper, it's just a shame that it isn't going to happen until our fifth game of the season in September.
