Well one thing Bognor are guaranteeing at the moment is plenty of excitement, along with goals and lots of frustration !!! Another game we should have won, could have won but yet again left to settle for a draw. For all the style, class of playing the ball around, defensivily we have a soft under belly and keep gifting goals away. For all our dominance, 2 own goals some how left us trailing at the interval. An early powerblaster from Harvey just after half time put Bognor back in the game. However wrong decision making, and lack of conviction infront of goal seemed to be costing us. However a great finish by Nathan in 90minutes gave us a deserved draw. Tactics for our next game must be to convince the team we are starting from 2 down. If that happens someone soon will get an almighty thrashing!!!! Still on the positive side only one defeat in 8 and another good gate of 745. Lets hope we don't give the opposition a start on Tuesday. COYR's

Yes, its happened again. But the team are playing well with a lot of spirit. I listened to the excellent commentary on Rocks Radio by the two Petes and it came across strongly that we played well and came back strongly from 2 down. I said on an earlier thread that someone is going to cop it. My bets are on Tuesday night!!!

What is apparent at the moment is that the 3 lads up front are being out muscled so often, that we lose the ball too easily. Oh for a Jason Prior to lead our line. They are all very technically gifted and would certainly benefit from a big lad up front. Having said that it is still early days and I am still confident we will make our mark this season.

Agreed but they are still learning at this level. I personally think Nathan is going to be one hell of a talent, a natural goalscorer.

See Chad has scored 3 in 3 out on loan, worth a recall?

Agreed Nathan does but thatโs why it annoys me so much we leave him so isolated when playing him in a middle 3. He will thrive with another forward up there with him,you only have to see his reactions to when Craney wins the header and nathan is onto the knockdown to score.

The way l have seen it is that the front three swap around a lot during games. My opinion, for what it is worth, is that Nathan is best suited to wide right at the moment. His ability to cut inside and hit it with his left foot is clear to see. Jordy for me is better down the middle. I think if he is out wide left it restricts his ability.
