No trains between Chelmsford and Colchester next Saturday due to engineering work.
Replacement bus to Colchester station, then you need to get another bus (the First Essex number 62) for the remaining ten miles to Regent as Colchester's the nearest train station.

Very true, and great value, but I know Andrew R used to like to go by train, and there may have been other adventurous types (Barry A?) doing the journey.
As for me, living almost halfway round the M25 from the junction I need to turn off, I hope to avoid protestors glueing themselves to the motorway and praying my tank contains enough petrol for the charabanc!
Could you please bring my supporters club membership card to the game? Thanks in advance.

It is actually nearer to brightlingsea to go to wivenhoe or Alresford and catch bus from there.i did Alresford last time which left a 10min bus journey.am planning on same again although as pete said there is a 50min rail replacement bus from Ingatestone(if the buses have any fuel)to negotiate en route.hoping the lads perform better than on our disastrous 3-0 defeat on the Tuesday night a couple of years ago.long journey home that night.COYR
