If Worthing manage to get to Bishops Stortford, it will make a mockery of our game being off.

Disappointing, now trying to convince myself that the game would have been spoilt by the wind & rain forcasted for this afternoon.

If Worthing manage to get to Bishops Stortford, it will make a mockery of our game being off. I will accept criticism but not sarcasm. You have no idea the problems with todays game for our opponents and also for us. I am the match secretary and along with Simon we have to look at all angles. None more so than perhaps having to tell a club there is no problem and then having to phone them on their coach when they may be just a few miles away and we have to tell the to turn around.last nights forecast at midnight was horrific after 11pp today. Add to which they had no idea which way they would be able to travel because of yesterdays storm. I would like to know what your opinions would have been if that would have been the case for you on our supporters coach. We had it a good few years ago on a Tuesday night going to B Stortford.

Cheshunt's travel concerns in the aftermath of yesterday's storm - so, presumably it is impossible or very difficult to travel to Bognor Regis by road? First I've heard of it. Mmmm. Weather concerns this pm - low 40s wind and sunshine/light rain showers on BBC forecast. Mmmmm. On that basis, lots of games will be postponed in the future. Absolutely pathetic.

No. Decision based on last night premature, imho. Forecast early this morning was as I said, so sufficient time to make a decision. My principal point made against Cheshunt. Anyway, decision taken, that's life.

Must be a very difficult job knowing when to postpone a fixture. My local non-League team twice had to travel from their base next to Heathrow to Cinderford Town, on the Welsh borders, for games which were postponed en route for fog when the club were 30-45 minutes from the ground. One of those journeys was midweek.

A few hundred yards from the Ground: weather front went through a little while ago before KO as forecast, rain stopped, brightened up, sun out and shining, very pleasant afternoon now, just right for watching a game of football ..Oh. Heigh-ho.

Only two games on both with not a great deal of travel involved. Looks like Pete and Simon were not alone in their decision. Well Done lads!

Not wise at all. Lottery numbers would be a guess unlike the weather forecast. Lots of blue sky now. Think I'll go and catch some rays in the garden.

Weak but worked out in the end. Tomorrow would have been a good shout, although it wouldn't continue to hide the fact that we probably need to give some players time to recover from injury. Similar story for the visitors no doubt either. This is not sarcasm, but scepticism, before I'm on the end of your retort PS. Only lottery that I would hazard a guess as to the winning numbers would be the Executive Club

It was called off because Peter had a sore throat and couldn’t do the commentary.....and lets face it with most games recently its the most entertainment we get 😂
Keep it going Peter , Peter and Liam ......just wish the team was as consistent in their performance . Probably a bit harsh .... but it does get really frustrating to watch at times.!!!
