Tuesday night sees us return to league action with the Robins making the trip down the coast. Carshalton are under new managememt this season with Ex Tonbridge Angels boss Steve McKimm in charge. So far they have won 2 out of their first 5 gesand sit in 12th place, just behind the Rocks in 9th place. It's early days but I would anticipate on past form Carshalton will be up pushing for promotion places. Last season Bognor won both games 1.0 so anticipate another closely contested game.

Coming back from 0-2 and 1-3 to get a draw would at first seem a good result but will be interesting to get the views of those at the game

At the final whistle Carshalton will probably wonder how they never walked away with the points. Very sliw out the blocks gifting the visitors 2 goals. Got back in it just before half time then gave away a silly penalty just after the restart. Then for the last 20 it was all Bognor. Nathan got a good well worked for 3-2.The equalizer in the 88th minute had an element of luck going in off Nathan's knee. So for the last 5 minutes grand finale. All Bogno, and in the 93rd minute almost stole it with a shot that hit the underside of the bar and somehow bounced out!!!! It would have been an injustice and most Bognor fans not being greedy will walk away happy with the point. The injuries are a worry, hope fully they will be fit for weekend, but we will need to improve 200% to avoid a heavy beating. But as we all know the FA Cup is a funny oldcgame. Hopefully a bumper crowd will get behind the team and help the boys raise their game.

Interesting to note that in our first 6 games, 5 of them have been against the current top 5 in the league standings (Aveley, Hornchurch, Potters Bar, Horsham and Cray). 8 points from 6 games isn’t a startling start but, given the apparent quality of the opposition, maybe there will be easier pickings ahead. By all accounts we made Aveley look very ordinary but they sit top of the pile with 15 points from 15 in their other matches.

We’re not a million miles away on the pitch, can never fault the players commitment and fitness levels. Just decision making at times, which seems teams are quick to capitalise on. A point very much gained last night.
