Bognor make the long journey west for the next round of the FA Trophy against in the form 'Seagulls' At the present time Weston sit in 2nd place in the Southern Premier league having lost only twice this season, once in the league and once in the FA Cup. The opposition play at the Optima Stadium on a 3g pitch. Bognor last played Weston in the National league South days, beating them 2.1 at the Lane and losing 1.0 away. For Bognor new signong Matt Paterson is cup tied. James Crane is back from suspension, whilst injury doubts over Robson are a worry. Long term injured Joe Rabbets has started light training, Calvin Davies had a scan in midweek and Jake Flannigan is still recovering. The squad is looking like it is stretched and youth players Holland and Briffa may well travel. All in all a tough fixture awaits ghe Rocks where we will need to be on our top game to get a result. Safe travels to all attending.

Fantastic result, coming from behind to win 2-1. That’s 3k in the bank too. Well done Rocks. All eyes on Monday’s draw.

The only downside is a midweek trip to Brightlingsea Regent, as the next Trophy fixture replaces the lads' game there on November 19th.
Still, excellent result against a high-flying team today. Well done, chaps!

A real game of 2 halves. First half low intensity, conceeded a poor goal, created little( keeper didn't have a save to make) sloppy passing and generally 2nd in most aspects. 2nd half a different team Started asking questions of the hosts. Greater ball speed, more intensity and overall better passing. Bognor's 2 substitutions Bridgeman and Lethbridge each created the chances that Nathan put away. Isaac hit the bar and Bognor looked a different team. For all Weston's possession they created little and what they did Steward in goal and Robson in defence stood firm Overall a great team performance against a high flyjng team and hopefully this result can kick start our season. Into the draw on Monday and lets hope for a nice home draw !!🤞🤞🤞
