Away to Banbury United on 17th December.
BarryA / boredprose will be all over that tie, as he lives in Oxfordshire and has been checking out houses within five miles of The Puritans!

Away again and to a Nat Lge North side. Didn't realise FIFA did the FA Trophy draw as well.

Had no idea Barry was living over that way now. I may be wrong but I think it’s a ‘first’ as I don’t think we’ve played a cup tie before against a National North side. We’ve given both Weston Super Mare and Lewes early head starts in the last two rounds. Do the same thing at Banbury and it will be an even harder mountain to climb. Just hope the Rocks defenders will be wary of a Banbury cross!

Altrincham were in the National League when we beat them in 2015/16 (although they were relegated at the end of that season) but I believe Lowestoft were in the National North when we beat them in the FA Cup in the same season.

I stand corrected. Lowestoft were indeed National North that season. Thanks Paul.

Away again and to a Nat Lge North side. Didn't realise FIFA did the FA Trophy draw as well. Shame it’s not at home, third away draw on the trot. But we’d have to be very unlucky to match our record of away draws that we had in the FA Cup. From 1984-87, we were drawn away EIGHT rounds in a row, starting from the famous tie at Swansea, ending with Thanet (Margate) away, before finally getting a home draw with Torquay in 1987. Still, there will be no complaints (in an unlikely event!) in the end if we can get to Wembley with a constant run of away ties.

Hornchurch won the FA Trophy without a single home tie.
