I have had advanced info for the FA Trophy game against National North Banbury United.
Their colours are all red with g/k in Maroon, so we will be in our normal colours
Admission Prices are as follows Adults £15 Senior Citizens £11 Students with ID Cards £8 Under 16s £5 Under 11s with an adult £2
There will be segregation following problems with a recent game against Chester. The club have been ordered to segregate fans by the police and the FA.

Thanks Peter, Seems a shame that the behaviour of other clubs fans spoils the game for the fans that like to change ends and get behind the goals. However it is what it is. Reading the Worthing forum, it seems that a lot of National League clubs are now operating fan segregation these days 😥😥

Yes it is Dave. The Banbury football secretary is particularly sad about it and realises that free movement has always been a huge part of the non league game. They only got promotion last season and it has been an eye opener moving up into this league they are now part of. If youb read the Non League paper every week, there isnt a week that goes by when there are incidents at grounds all around the country. It seems that this part of the game has inherited a new group of support that we can all do without.

Yep, it is disappointing when segregation is introduced at non-league grounds. The attraction of non-league football is that you can stand anywhere you like.
I don't know this - I'm only guessing - but it may be that these people causing this trouble have filtered down from EFL clubs where banning orders are in place and where policing and stewarding is much stricter.
Segregation is certainly in place in the National League. I saw Dorking v Aldershot a few weeks ago and the 850 Shots supporters were at one end of the ground well away from the home support.
Given the away following of the likes of Wrexham, Chesterfield and Notts County its probably a good idea.

Yes I'd go along with that Wilsonian but I would say that nearly all clubs in the National League are full time so it is not really a semi-pro league although, of course, it's still classed as 'non-league'.
If Rocks have aspirations for climbing the non-league pyramid ie National League South and above I'm afraid segregation might become a norm at Nyewood Lane unfortunately.

I have to correct my initial post as it has been brought to my notice that despite the information given to me, the FA and police didnt demand that Banbury segregate fans, but the club itself had made the decision to segregate supporters from now on due to a previous incident at their ground. I apologize for this error but I can only pass on info to our club supporters that has been passed on to me by club officials. Despite this error, segregation will still be in place.
