Bognor go into Saturday's game in a little bit of form of recent weeks. With a couple of games in hand it's important we keep this run going , and with a little bit of luck we could well go into Christmas in a play off position. Haringey who at the present time sit in 15th place with 21pts from 17 games. Current form guide shows The Borough in 16th place with only 7 points put of the last 18 available.
The club itself is a relatively new club only formed in 1973, with the merger of Edmonton F.C.and Wood Green Town F.C. Originally they were called Edmonton and Haringey F.C. but changed their name to Haringey Borough F.C. in 1996. Last season Haringey had the better of the results beating us 2.1 at the Lane in August 21, whilst drawing 3.3 at White Hart Lane in December 21.
Hopefully there will be a decent gate, and our recent form continues.
Team wise, hopefully Josh McCormick could be back involved having only just failed a last minute fitness test on Tuesday night. Nice to see Joe Rabbetts back after 13 weeks off injured. As far as I am aware the only likely absentee is Calvin Davies who is waiting for an operation.
COYR's!!

Fogot to say Alfie Bridgeman away with Malta U19. However it would seem new signing Hani Berchiche could be involved with the team

After watching England on Friday night I thought things couldn't get any worse. How wrong I was!! After giving away an early goal yet again we spent the whole game chasing it. To be fair the game could still be being played now and I honestly don't believe we would have scored. So many times we squeezed passes that didn't exist. Our final pass was woeful, and all in all it was only the woodwork that saved us from a bigger defeat. Really really disappointing game, at this rate we will be only a lower half team. After a pre-season of high expectations at the moment I feel we need a massive change of attitudes/ approach or the season is already over. Fortunately at the moment we are not that far off playoff's. Not sure how🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️. Let's hope we bounce back next week

Decision making poor today, we’ve two very good strikers and we are not targeting them, instead playing the ball sideways constantly, frustrating!! New chap Hani looks like he can pick a pass 👍

Another disappointing result, again a defensive mistake costing us over the course of the game. If anyone watched the warm up routines that Carshalton and Bowers and Pitsea both had before the home games against us, they worked on defensive warm up routines of heading out and clearance from practice balls into the box, when do you ever see our team do that? A lot can be learnt from watching other teams warm up routines. It's all very well saying we are a young team but mistakes keep happening and costing us results, sooner or later you have to address the mistakes that keep occurring. We are heading into a relegation battle if mistakes keep occurring.

One of them afternoons where we could be playing till this morning and probably still not scored. Can’t fault the efforts,or commitment from the players. But a disappointing afternoon at the lane, just as we had seemed to turn the corner a little. Which now makes us look down the table atm rather than upwards.

We are heading into a relegation battle if mistakes keep occurring. No argument about the continued individual mistakes that keep happening that are constantly costing us goals against. The players as a team couldn't be faulted for effort, but wayward passing and wrong decision-making caused us to give the ball away very cheaply. Quite how we didn't score a coup[le of goals in the dying minutes of the game is beyond me. I can't agree that we will be in a relegation fight. Generally this season we have fought back and got a result when we have given a team a heads start but it wasn't to be yesterday. We've just won four on the bounce and these things happen in nonleague football. You just look at the table and two wins and other results going your way and you are in and around the playoff zone. we are where we are and the only way to improve our position is to tighten up and stop individual errors because they are definitely costing us.

Yes, 2 or 3 major defensive mistakes and one led to a goal but IMO the biggest problem was in mid-field. I don't like criticising individual players but it come to something when the most creative mid-fielder was a centre back in the mid-field holding role. The other two: one kept trying fancy stuff and losing the ball and the other kept passing the ball backwards, sideways, anywhere except forwards, often when there were good attacking options. We missed Harvey in mid-field who usually gives us some go forward. The manager seemed as frustrated as anyone at the backwards/sideways passing, especially by that particular player, so one wonders why he doesn't do something about it. There also seems to be an epidemic of shirt pulling but the ref only penalised about a third of it - not bad I suppose for officials these days. Borough were pretty poor but they didn't have to do much to beat us. Still, better than watching England.

On the plus side I thought Joe Rabbetts was outstanding and certainly put in a full shift.

I really don't like making comments on here after a poor performance as it's so difficult to find something positive to say. I do agree with kof but sadly we haven't had a midfield capable of putting in consistently good performances for a long time which is why the results are so up & down. With injuries we have a very thin looking squad so all rather depressing. However could we have found part of the answer because I thought Bragg had a really good game stepping up to central midfield he just needed another effective midfielder to assist & I think the overall performance would have been lifted. Easy to say of course but where do you find the right player at this point in the season, one midfield player that did impress was the one we had on loan for a few games from Havant any chance of getting him back?

I was behind their goal for the last part of the game, so saw the squandered chances up close...it was like watching the Keystone Cops, for those of you who are old enough to remember them. I agree Berchiche looks a player, but how he managed to hit the side netting when it was easier to just toe it into the goal is beyond me. Mind you, that was nothing compared with Cameron Black heading the ball off Matt Paterson's head when they both jumped for a cross...surely another aspect that could and should be taken care of in training? We just don't seem to be a cohesive force; more like 11 individuals giving it their all and it's about time Robbie took some of the heat for that.

Lots of comments about the players - individually and collectively - but little about the management. I feel we've got players of sufficiency quality to be comfortably in the playoff zone. How they are managed, directed and controlled is something else. And until the men in the Boardroom and pitch-side wake up to the fact that you can't expect to put 11 players out on a pitch with no evidence of a game plan or practiced set pieces you'll always be at a disadvantage. Ever since the combination of Dabba and Jamie left our style of play and quality has been in decline. We'll have good days and bad days but unless something changes I fear we'll slip slowly downwards.
