Saturday see's the Rocks on their travels again as they visit Coles Park to take on Haringay Borough. Games are generally tight between the 2 teams with The Borough winning 1.0 at the Lane back in November. At the present time Borough sit in 14th place with 35 points from 28 games whilst the Rocks sit a position below in 15th on 34 points from 25 games. Rocks are a bit of a roll at the moment winning 4 and drawing 1 from their last 5 games played, and 10 out the last 12 points available. Borough have won 3, drawn 1 and lost 4 of their last 8 games. Rocks have injury worries over Sam Magri (ankle) Cameron Black (knee) and Matt Paterson (back). Calvin Davies, Tom Chalaye and Josh McCormick all continue with their recent recovery from injury. The supporters club are running a coach to the game and there are a couple of seats available. See away day travel or call Dave Robinson to book a seat

Well home after a great away day to Haringay. Another good Rocks following were treated to an excellent game and a superb result. So often a venue where we fail to get a result, the recent improved form and fitness saw the team continue their good run. The normal pattern of a slow start continued as Bognor conceeded first yet again. In an end to end game. Dan Gifford equalised soon after. With the swift inter passing causing the Bognor defence problems. Haringay, restored their lead only for Bognor to pull the goal back again, this time from from Nathan Odonkonyero. Both teams looked vulnerable in defence and it seemed certain this was not the last of the goals. Just on half time Nathan had a glorious chance to give Bognor the lead but headed straight at the keeper with the goal at his mercy. 2nd half Calvin Davis replaced Joe Briffa. This gave the midfield a little bit better balance. With Walter and Alfie Bridgman causing havoc down the right, Sam, Calvin in midfield and Harvey and Jo Rabbetts on the over lap it was obvious more chances would occur. Dan added his 2nd, and then Nathan also his 2nd also as Bognor built up a 4.2 lead. The home keeper produced several fine saves to keep the score down but after a superb 2nd half performance Bognor scored their 5th on 90 minutes from Sam De St Croix. A brilliant victory and a rightly deserved result as the hosts failed to live with Bognor in the 2nd half. That's 6 games on the trot unbeaten in all games and 20 goals in the process. Let's hope the team can keep this form going as we go into Monday's game at Carshalton.

Not much more to add from the above post! An excellent performance, we struggled to get to grips with a fast moving Harringay attack whose left winger created havoc at times! Once under control we passed them off the park, with some fantastic football. Fitness is definitely hugely improved and was good to see Cal get a half in and Pato warming up with the squad 👍
A first visit for me, their fans were great, stadium a bit of a hole lol 😂
