Well home after a long trip back from London and plenty of time to recollect what I witnessed today. If I am honest I think I am still in shock. It was a game I actually felt we looked half decent going forward and some of our pass and movement especially in the first half was good. We dominated for most of the first half. Nathan put us ahead following up on a Sam De St Croix shot which was spilled. However within minutes we were level when Sam gave the ball away and Wingate went straight down the other and the cross was touched in at the near post. 1.1 and the hosts first attack and shot. 2nd half same Bognor pressure, numerous corners which were dreadful in their delivery. On the counter the hosts took the lead with the 2nd shot on goal following a poor defensive clearance, but a good shot from the Wingate winger. Bognor continued to have the lions share of possession but no end product. On the counter yet again the defence was caught; 3rd shot on goal 3rd goal. If only we had been as successful with our conversion rate !! With time running out on the counter again Wingates 4th shot of the game and 4th goal; beyond belief to all the Bognor fans. In fairness in injury time fortunately Wingate missed their 5th shot. (I hope their coach has them in for shooting practice this week !!!) Calvin Davies scored an injury time 2nd from a free kick. We should have scored a 3rd when Nathan headed straight at the keeper from feet out and the goal at his mercy. That about summed our day up. Very, very disappointing is a total understatementš”š”š”

A bit stunned to be fair! I thought our front three were awful today, their body language was all wrong as if they didnāt want to be there! Defensively, it was Sunday League if that, you never let the ball bounce in front of you, and we did on a number of occasions and were punished for it.
First half we controlled the game, and Joe put in half a dozen great crosses, not one was met by our strikers. So frustrating that as soon as we take the lead with a scrappy rebound, we commit the cardinal sin and let them stroll through for the equaliser.
Second half the worst football weāve played all season imho.
Robbie must be going grey, a number of these players do have the ability to go on in the game, today, they showed none of it, he needs to change it up, go more direct and get them playing againā¹ļøā¹ļø

Personal reasons are holding me back from away games atm,but little concerning thatās 8 goals against teams lower in the league to us in a week but somehow stop the team scoring goals for fun (Hornchurch) they score 1.
But itās football and why we come back game after game.
Can imagine Robbieās interview he wonāt be holding back.
The reason we concede so many is it because we try to play too attacking? Leaves us exposed š¤·š¼āāļø Glad Iām not a football manager.
Anyway up the Rocks š

Thought Robbieās interview was tip top š
Trying to find some or any positives from Saturday, I thought Sam was good in midfield and some of his passing excellent. Joe in the first half put in some great crosses and Pato when he came on gave us height, strength and movement.
Oh and I really hope we start to work on our delivery into the box, 90% of them didnāt get past the first man or over a meter high!!
Looking forward to tomorrow night and see the response of the lads who make the cut!!!
