Couldnt attend tonight as I failed a covid test.
Seems like we stuck to the task after scoring early again. It was a good effort considering the injurues and players playing out of position. An important 3 points and others around the bottom losing.

Hard fought battle. The new lad Florian looked useful and tidy and scored a screamer of a goal. Nice to see Danny Howick back from dual reg at Steyning and Tom Holland from Pagham. Danny I thought had an excellent game in the absence of Robbo. The game should have been over by half time but the same old achillies heel left us unable to kill teams off. Bet Robbie wishes he had the chances we are creating given to him when he played🤔🤔 2nd half Margate huffed and puffed but created very little, so much so that Matt never had a direct shot to save in the whole game. A 1.0 victory looks on paper a close game but Bognor were on the front foot most of the time and saw out the game for a valuable 3 points. Onwards and upwards and a hard game this Saturday with a home game v Canvey Island

Played some real good stuff at times tonight, like we did at Herne Bay. Another day could/should have had at least 5 but that’s football. I quite prefer the 1-0/2-0 wins as it shows we have to dig deep at times to stay ahead and shows character.
New signing took his goal well, and overall a good team performance and a good evening down the lane.
I’m sure this season will have been a massive learning curve for Robbie, and without wishing the season away. I’m interested to see what he has planned/or players.
Up The Rocks.

Thought this was a very poor Margate side, nothing like the team we played earlier in the season.
New lads came in and did well, especially Howick who looked strong and very capable. The game should have been out of sight by half time, and throughout the match I kept thinking ‘one is not enough!’ Thankfully it wasn’t another disappointing finish. 😊
Thought Calvin was strong again and is relishing playing right back, Gifford is a work horse (and my MOTM) but don’t like him playing out on the wing and the last two or three games I’ve thought Nathan looks tired.
Think we’re safe from a relegation battle now 😊👍

Dan Howick is our player but has been out on loan to get some game time. Calvin has spent much of his time as a full back with this club. He has played right and left back.

A win is a win... so well done ...but....
With so many chances to kill the game off it should have been so much more comfortable. A great goal to get the win and various good performances , but ..........we still need to to choose the right options........( and I’m surprised we dont hear from from the bench to endorse it?) Play the way you are facing.... Dont try to bust the net when a simple side foot would be the best and more rewarding option Play the ball early ...dont run twenty yards and pass it five...run five and pass it twenty!!!!
This is basic kids football tactics ...which you would think at this level would be automatic... but then I’m not a coach...just a supporter that gets infuriated with basic simple errors.....
