Bognor's hard pre-season continued at home to a strong Dorking team. Bognor started well with midfield of De StCroix; Davies and McCormack probing the visitors giving the forward line of Mather, Higgs and Pattenden the opportunity to create chances. In a end to end game Higg shot Bognor ahead in the 22nd minute only for ex Rock to equalise on 31 minutes. Both sides had chances but neither team took them and left the game evenly poised at 1-1 at half time. Dorking looked the more lively at the start ofvghe 2nd half; and that man Prior shot the visitors ahead. The lead was short lived however; as good play out on the left saw a superb strike by Sam De St Croix levelled the scores. Joth teams made changes but neither were able to snatch a winner; although Bognor just about finished the stronger at the final whistle. A good work out for both clubs, and many positives to take into nect weeks derby against Chichester.

Though it was the best if our pre season ganes so far. Quite competitive to say the least. The team are now getting an understanding of each other and we played some good football throughout. Sam scored a scorcher of a goal to equalise.
