A cold freezing night greeted both teams under the lights of Nyewood Lane, and for much of the first half it looked like Bognor had chosen to stay in the warmth of the changing rooms as they certainly weren't at it on the pitch. Cray went ahead in the 18th minute when Joe Rabbetts made a poor error allowing the Cray right winger to fire home giving Ryan Hall no chance. For the rest of the half Bognor either over played or were on making the wrong decision infront of goal. Dan Smith really should have equalised but his lack of confidence showed again as he squandered a glorious chance. 2nd half a different team. Quicker ball speed, Isaac on for Alfie gave Bognor options on both wings and they both caused chaos in the Cray defence. With Harvey and Ben Anderson having fine games in the middle of the park and Lucas and Isaac causing trouble down the wings surely a equaliser had to come? Lucas was fouled for a clear penalty but the chance was squandered as Dan Gifford hit high over the bar. With time running out it seemed that Cray's time wasting tactics were going to get the better of the Bognor team until the 87th minute when Dan Gifford equalised. In added time Gifford again redeemed his poor penalty by heading in the winner. Oh how the Cray team now regretted their horrible time wasting tactics!! Final whistle and a nail biting but deserved victory for the Rocks and they now go into Saturdays game at Hashtag knowing a victory over the hosts will lift the Rocks further up the table and on the fringe of the playoff's

Not much more to add.
Think it’s proving this season,we have a SQUAD of players that now the way we want to play and stick to it. It wasn’t the greatest but don’t think we was overly bad, just didn’t take key chances. But we stuck to it and got what we deserved I thought.
Onto the next two games, against sides above us. A good opportunity to climb above at least hashtag Saturday…
Up The Rocks.

Firstly, well done to the groundsmen for getting the pitch ready after it cut up badly on Saturday. Secondly, thanks to all the fans for turning out on a bitterly cold night to see another victory. On to the game, theres not a lot to add to what has already been said. Probably a better team effort than the game against Canvey resulting in three more points. Secondly, this team doesnt give up when things arent going right. We knew that Cray had chucked away a lot of points in the last ten minutes of games lately and that was the spur to drive at them and we did that as a team getting our just rewards, even if we were on the edge of our seats in stoppage time. Two things stood out for me, firstly the excellent form of our keeper who absolutely deserves his award for the best keeper in the league over the last few weeks and secondly, just how much Ben Anderson has learned his trade in this division after stepping up to it in the summer.
