Full marks to Dan Smith today for filling the gap when Kieron had to be substituted with a dislodged tooth after a wild aerial challenge from a Cheshunt forward. I reckon Dan won every header he went for in defence and provided vital support to the somewhat vertically challenged back four. He was immense I thought.

Strong response from the lads, great to see our 2023-24 unbeaten home league record extend to 13.
Incredible crowd of 1072. We are going to need every decibel of that support as we head into the last 14 games. 2 points outside the play-offs, 2 games in hand on 5th place. This is the time we need to galvanise everything which is special about our club to drive us forward.

Bad day for injuries and that is a big worry for Tuesday nights game. If the players injured are not available for Tuesday Weare going to have to dig deep.

Big big disappointment today in a game we generally bossed. Cheshunt are battling for their league safety and their physical approach left a lot to be desired. Unfortunately very weak officials allowed them to get away with murder!!!! A superb crowd got behind the team who showed no signs of a hangover from Tuesday's result. But for poor finishing infront of goal the game should have been over by the time Cheshunt stole an equaliser. The worry for Bognor is the injuries with 2 players going off to hospital. Tuesday will now be evenharder so lets get behind the team again and be the 12th man.
COYR's!!!

2 points dropped ? Yes. Can the players be faulted in anyway? No.
The flow of the game and game plan going out the window early doors with injuries to players (hoping all of them are as good as they can be) but Ben Anderson didnβt look good. But credit to the lads playing various of positions that arenβt their usual but giving their all to claim 3 points.
Bigger picture 19 points of 21 is superb. Giving us a chance of sniffing around those play offs,do we wanna be stuck right in there ? Of course. But Iβd take getting in them on the last day of the season in the last minute, where it really counts.
Great crowd,a good away following also. That have only praised the club, which is great to read and see. Nyewood Lane turning into that club/ground as being one of the best in the league.
Get behind them Tuesday, the lads will need it.

Must agree with Dodgy Keeper, Dan Smith was immense when he came on. I think he won every header. Bearing in mind the injuries, I thought we showed guts and courage throughout the game. Cheshunt for their part were very physical, which would have intimidated us not so long ago. Not now, all of our lads stood up to them. Devastated to hear about Ben Anderson's serious injury, he has been brilliant since he stared playing in the middle of the park. Let's hope that the gofundme page launched by Calvin, helps to support Ben while he is unable to work. I wish him the speediest possible recovery.

Well where to start about yesterday. First of all if I was a cheshunt fan I would be disappointed to support them. a team that seemed purely set up to kick the sh*t out of anyone in a bognor shirt and play big hoof ugly football but what more to expect when u see who there manager is. Everywhere hes been his teams have always been like this. The ref did not help and give us any support to stop it. Onto the game we should probably have scored 5 goals from great chances and had a penalty when mather was taken down and the defender clearly didn't touch the ball but it wasn't given. But considering the injurys and changes that had to made throughout the game a point isn't bad and we did great to dig in and defend well. Losing Lucas was a massive blow as most of our attacks always came through him so hope he's ok for Tuesday. Maybe we will need another center back for Tuesday if Douglas isn't fit? Could we get howick back for a game or 2 to cover him? Yes Ryan hall could have done better for the goal but I won't complain about that he's been superb all season and there will always be mistakes from goalkeepers somewhen but considering the amount of time hes come out his box to clear with his feet or head etc and not made a mistake. He will be gutted he dropped the ball but it happens and we move on.

Every season a team comes to Nyewood Lane that you hope will get relegated and today was that team. Ugly big boot, ugly fouls and ugly time wasting right from the kick-off. If they go down, good riddance.

It all depends on how players are trained and coached. That answers your question.
